Have you tried adjusting the driver seat height slightly lower in the 2008LT ?
Power seats can make a difference.

Thanks. Oh, yeah. I adjust any electric seat I encounter all the way down out of habit. I had an 2008LS with electric seat and no doodads on the mirror. The narrower mirror helped. Now I wish I would have measured the seat height for comparison to my 2011LS (The one in the picture) which has the manual seat. Pretty sure the electric seat went lower, but not by much.
I was looking over the manual seat to see if I could mod the mounting to drop it a bit. Added benefit, easier on my neck clearing the roof while entering/exiting. It would be a project.
My 2LT w/ electric leather seat has a sunroof that steals headroom, to add insult to the injury. The leather could be a different height than the cloth, for all I know. (Then there are the SS seat variations...) I’ve never look at the electric seat for opportunities to lower it.

When I 1st got my new SS in 2010 one of the mods I did was a drivers side seat drop. Cut out the drivers side rear seat bar mount and replaced it with a "step down" bar. Made the replacement from some L bar stock that I notched and bent.
I'm sure I did some sort of posting about it years ago. Those threads may be in the archives but the pics may not be there anymore.
Here's a pic of the step down bar mounted in place. Got about 1.5 inches of rear seat drop which was all I needed and wanted. You can see the passenger side original bar still in place.
(the 2x4 is just holding the seat up while I was working on it )
