Most miles in first week of ownership?

We did just over 1200 miles? What about the rest of you?

I snapped a picture of 999 with my cell phone camera, and also 1000. I figure 4 digits is when it stops being a new car.

The first week seems like so long ago that I don't even remember.

I am averaging 1000 miles a week, which is cool because I love driving the truck, but that is alot of miles, the winter will slow things down...and getting the Escort rolling again will help.

Yeah, I told Rie that I hope we don't continue averaging 1000+ miles per week! Of course, she is a school teacher and is out for summer and I am self-employed so we travel a lot in the summer.

Feeling better!

This thread has given me great comfort since I put about 850 my first week this week... I'm glad I'm not alone in wanting to drive just about everywhere..."Honey, do we need anything from the store"..."No, it's o.k. let's take my car"... "I'll be right back, I'm going to drive around and see if the mailman is around"(actual quote)... What can I say, I love my new HHR!

we did that too, just over 1200 miles the first week. but we did go on a little bit of a trip also, so it wasnt just around the city.

But starting this week, the HHR will only get driven on weekends and such, and i'll drive my Caviler to work every day. I'm a jet engine mechanic so i'd rather not get the HHR all dirty from me being dirty.

Joshua, same here. We wer 5 hours away from home visiting my in-laws when we bought the truck in Temecula. Two trips from Hemet to San Diego, back home to Bakersfield, over to the coast in Cambria/Morro Bay, down the coast to Ventura, and then across the Grapevine back home. We actually haven't even tried it out iin town yet.

burbhhr... Check out the Pacific Coast thread in Regional and let's get together. Hwy 1 is the perfect place to drive an HHR.
