In June 2000 I bought a new Monte Carlo SS from Donn Darr Chevrolet in St Louis and went on vacation the next day. We totaled just under 5,000 miles in the first ten days of ownership. We did the Grand Canyon, Arches Nat'l Park, Monument Valley and just about every attraction from St Louis to Dallas to El Paso to Phoenix to Grand Canyon to Utah to Great Sand Dunes,
Colorado to Dodge City to KC and back to STL.

I did exactly 1031 miles the first week I had my HHR. i remember taking a snapshot of the odometer

another 1550 miles back to Snyder, Tx 5 more days

 

Wow.. All of a sudden I am a low miler!

 

1005 miles in first 7 days. had to take it slow after the first 468 due to big dent in the back.
