The other day I was looking under the hood of my HHR and noticed a "mystery nipple"on the dipstick bracket.It's purpose puzzled me. I could find nothing in the parts catalog here at work to indicate it's purpose.The answer came when I peeked under the hood of my daughter's '05 Cobalt.The sight shield on top of the engine is bigger on her car than on mine and that's where the front of the shield is fastened down!

 

And here I thought I was going to see a picture of Jessica Alba from the neck down.

I noticed the same thing on the front of my motor, I thought it was a breather, but I'm curious also

 

I was all excited when my fiance came home so I could check under her hood...

But unfortunately... no extra nipple...


When she asked me what I was doing... I told her I read all about it on here...
