You are correct that is a 49 but not for the reason stated. The difference between a 49 and a 50 Ford(front view) is the parking lights. The 49 has little pointy ones at the grill tip and the 50 has larger parking lights. The 51 is the grill with 2 bullets.

The third vehicle from the left in the second row(it is actually in the third row)...is that a 51 Ford Pickup?

 

That's either a '49 or a '50 Ford. They were very similar and it's hard to tell from that pic. Parking lights were different for one thing and you can't see any at all here. The '51 Ford had the 2 bullet grille. I know 'cause I had one for a while back in '53/'54, when I was young and single! Wish I had a "NEW" 1951 Ford now!
