Name that color...
Name that color...
Since GM can't seem to make up it's mind thruought the model years on what to call the grey HHR's lets' make up our own...haha J/K.
No but seriously my HHR is a 2007 LS that to me would be considered grey. The few places I have looked up so far all call my color a silver name. Then in 08 they call it dark grey mettalic according to one of the sites. So I am wondering what is the GM name for my cars color?

http://www.paintscratch.com/touch_up...62-WA805K.html this it Dark Spiral Gray Metallic Clearcoat
Not only does GM change color names from model year to model year, they change it from make to make. It used to be the more expensive the brand, the more snooty sounding the paint name became, but the paint code never changed.
Dark Silver Metallic would be the name for yours and 843de is right they change the name from year to year and from make to make. They called gray Dark Silver Metallic in 2007, but in 2010 they called it Cyber Gray Metallic. In 2007 mine was called Silverstone Metallic, but in 2010 it was called Silver Ice Metallic. An example of the make to make change would be my Oldsmobile Alero. Oldsmobile called my color Ruby Red Metallic, while on the Pontiac Grand Am it was called Redfire Metallic, but the paint code was still the same regardless of which one you had.

"She needs a good polishing first."
Not necessarily 07azhhr, we like 'em clean or dirty, show winners or daily drivers, SS's to LS's....there isn't an HHR that isn't worthy of being seen here no matter how much of a dirty bird it might be at the moment. We even have a dirty HHR thread that will get going again once the snow flies.
