New front clip

I was wondering if the front clip of a SS would fit on my LT. I was thinking maybe only the grill would be different. Also wondering if fog light would be the same. I hit something on my way to Chicago. Called the insurance company and said it falls under collision not comp. So since I have to pay for the majority of the fix. I might as well go for a change. Any information on this would be greatly appreciated.

The hood and fenders are the same across all three trim levels LS/LT/SS. But the front bumper/fascia, grill, fog lights, and bumper substructure are all unique to the SS model. Some folks have given their non-SS models a facelift with the appropriate parts, but the cost of conversion is somewhere in the $2,500-3,000 range just for the requisite parts.

If you do go this route and get a front clip from a crashed SS, make sure that the bumper supports and substructure are also salvaged for transplant onto your LT.

Thanks for the info. Looks like I will call the junk yards to see what I can find.
