New guy...All kinds of questions...

Ok so, Im not trying to be annoying and im sure my questions have been answered somewhere but, im lazy. Plus its kinda fun to get to know everyone. So to the point...

All questions pertain towards a 2007 HHR LS 2.2 Automatic

1> My remote wire for my sub is spliced to the pink wire in the power conecter of the stock radio. Why does my sub pop when i open door/open hatch/etc. Which wire is the best to connect the remote to not have this issue?

2> I see a ton of rear bowties with the same color as the paint, and they look like they were painted stock. The GM peeps told me there are no colored bowties. Some BS with GM recalling all aftermarket bowties. Kinda lame of them. If so, whats the best way to remove it and how should i paint it ( paint type? Brush? spray? )

You ever have one of those days when you wake up and feel like a NOOB! lol WHAT ELSE WOULD BE A KOOL MOD?

Thanks guys....Alex

Anyone making anything with anyone's registered logo that is not theirs is trademark infringement. GM never did nor could they recall anyone's product that they do not manufacture, sell or install on their vehicles. They could however send a cease and desist notice to anyone using their trade marks without permission.

If you think this is lame then I suggest you spend millions of dollars to promote and build a trade mark and then allow anyone to profit from your investment.

By the way, Ford, Chrysler and all the other manufactures monitor and stop illegal use of their trade marks as well. Nothing new or unique to GM.

Don't get me wrong, I totally understand trademark infringement. Im just bummed that GM wouldn't make stylish bowties as an add on. Something they could sell in their parts dept.

Maybe the GM guy told me wrong, but thats pretty much what he said. I didn't understand his explanation of there "recall".
