I want to put better bulbs in, hopefully something less problematic and longer lasting than the SilverStars.

Yeah..the Silverstars sort of...well suck for the $$ you pay considering how long they last..considering what a pita the bubs are to change compared to my other vehicles, I want something that is gonna last

I installed the Philips X-Tended, as recommended by another member, and got a great deal from www.bulbs.com....

i have had my silverstars for well over a year i think thats pretty good for a headlight bulb.

Sorry guys, I still haven't been able to meet up with my parents and take a pick of the two hhr's side by side.

 

same exact thing i was thinking...i havent changed mine in 2 yrs but i still have the OEM bulbs...
one thing i keep reading about are the PIAA and HELLA brand bulbs..
dunno if anyone has installed those yet in the HHR..

supposedly they are WAY better than anything else the silverstars and sylvanias etc etc etc..

who knows just dont like the idea of removing tires n crap just tp put in a light bulb... DAMN CHEVY
