There was some talk here do not remember the thread, but should come out later half 08, option also rear seats. If I find it again I will post Thread address.

If I remember right it also had the rear seats,
Options were total panel or half.
Tool box or second seats.
I am still looking for that Thread.

I think that you are right. I went to the GM 2008 chevy truck ordering guide and listed under additions is
(AA5) Solid rear quarter (not available at start of production)

Looks good. This having the rear seats is a much better option than an all out panel in my opinion.
