Why would you take a car over 15 years old to a dealership, for other than recalls? They don't know anything the guy down the street doesn't, maybe less. Dealer mechanics only know how to replace parts, they struggle with proper diagnosis.

Sometimes you have to look at the details, I’ve seen some ac systems simply over charged causing problems.

Based on his previous post stating that he put in less than a can of refrigerant, I would say it is undercharged. R134a comes in 12 oz cans. The HHR system takes 14 oz. High side pressure should be over 200. He said his was 180.

I know the dealership was a bad idea, just hoping already tried multiple locale resources. Still no success.

Since you replaced the compressor and pulled vacuum , did you put some compressor oil back in with the Freon ?

Yes,, I did an oil charge. When I jump the relay, runs great. Temp coming out of the vents 40 degrees F, with the outside air temp 82 degrees F. I do appreciate everyone's advice. Thanks!

Need to get a read of the module and see why it's not grounding the relay. Do you have a scan tool that can read the datastream?
