New member of the family....

We will be adding another HHR to our Chevy family tomorrow. My dad is trading in his 2007 Ford Mustang base w/ a 5 speed for 2010 1LT in Imperial Blue Metallic. Details are a little sketchy right now but I do know it is a quarter panel and has a bright appearance package. He has had some problems with his back and hip over the last 2-3 years that makes driving a stick almost impossible. Granted he is retired but the Stang only has 2300 miles on it. He really likes my SS and wanted an HHR for himself. I tried to get him to swing for an auto SS but he says his performance days are over. So we are officially an all GM household tomorrow. I will get some pictures of the blue beast when I get home from work tomorrow.

It would have been alot better for him to trade it in if it was a GT. The base models are going cheap now. The 4.0 SOHC V6 is a dog even in manual form. I had one in my truck and it was anticent technology they threw into the 05 and up base Mustangs. Better than the 3.8 it replaced but Ford could have done alot better on that one. But regardless, I think he will be very happy with the new HHR.
