New Member/HHR Questions

New member, haven't had time to read all of the posts. I am in the process of selling my '04 F150 to buy an '07 HHR. Like the styling of the HHR. MPG is what I am looking for.

Consumer Reports recommended this vehicle among others. Help me out with the 'Good' and the 'Bad'.

Thanks for the help.

Welcome!! There should be some sweet deals out there on the '07's...you can even do a reality check here before you buy ---

A few weeks ago everyone was hot and heavy on the HHR Panels, then they came in and now it's the RUMOR MILL about the SS version. You name it, we discuss it until we're blue in the face. You will LOVE the search function...
nav units, tuning, exhaust, audio, grills, dash kits, visors, wheel size, how-tos - this place ROCKS!! Settle in and we'll be here when you come up for a breath.

Reread your post and noticed you wanted info on MPG. Here is one of the Fuel Economy threads: Gas Mileage

Good/bad are very subjective terms. But it does appear that GM has worked out some of the issues that plagued the first year models of 06.

There have been a few lemons, but most are very reliable, comfortable, cost-efficient, and very fun to drive. One suggestion I could offer is to plan to own it for a while. Trade-in values are still very low. If you trade every two years, this probably isn't the car for you yet!

Welcome,
Very fun vehicle to own. Very mod receptive if you are into that. Gas milage is great. I'm averaging 24 in town.
