New Tires - Two thumbs up 215/50R17
Hi Folks, I just had installed today four new Kumho Solus KH16 tires in 215/50R17. They do just what you folks here on the board said they would. They are almost dead quiet, and ride very soft compared to the Firestones. I haven't had a chance to try out their recommended wet-weather performance in a monsoon yet.
For those of you who like to feel everything sharp as a razor, the Firehawks are much more connected-to-the-asphalt feeling. As in, you can feel the pavement cracks and crannies. These Kumho's seem to have grip (I haven't pushed them to the max obviously), but are a more "laid-back" tire for those who want more comfort.
I'd recommend them. God Bless, Marc
