Newbie HHR owner

I just bought a new 07 HHR. I never bought a new car ever as I don't make a lot of money. The cars I owned were 23 and 11 years old. After repairing brakes, then tie rod ends, then buying a new set of tires for the Escort I had, the silly car decides to drop its muffler. THAT'S IT!!!! Time for a new car. Boss recommends I look at the HHR as his wife loves hers. I go to Holz Chevy and inquire about HHRs. I notice a panel truck style and I drove it and waited for the financing to go through and I got it, although I didn't think I would get it. I love it!! I got a base model with the smaller engine as I can upgrade things later as money allows. I am a mobile DJ and the panel is just the car for me, no windows for prying eyes to see what I have. I also like the fact that the rear side doors have no handles. So the 1995 Escort has gone where all good little Fords go and I still have the 83 Mercury Marquis wagon which has been uber reliable, plus you just don't see those on the road anymore. Anyway, I think I bought the first panel in my area. These are so new that my insurance guy argued with me that the VIN doesn't exist, or my car was a conversion. Don't you just hate insurance agents? An evil necessity. Besides DJing, I also am an artist at car shows and I also work at a wiring harness factory. Just got done drawing my own HHR to give to the guy who sold me the car at Holz. I am looking forward to going to the Dells.

Congrats on your new panel truck. Those things are sweet. Too bad I needed one with a back seat. Enjoy!

Welcome to the site. How cool you got the new panel ride!! I have not seen one in person yet. One of these days I need to go to my dealers and see if he has one on the lot. (tho I could never get rid of Molly!)
