dealers down here in south florida are terrible.....twice ive gone to a dealer and seen a cust service rep. and they both said they have more trouble within 50miles of the miami area than anywhere else. which is making me look into other brands......i do love my hhr but its comming to a point where im going to be putting almost $2k in the hhr and still have the same issues and crappy service from the dealers.......since 2005 ive bought 5 GM cars with 3 being new. i think it might be time for another brand.

Too funny........

I was just going to commend GP Chevy for their service. Was actually in and out for a new battery under warranty in about 15 minutes. True, I know that's about how long it should take, but they wanted to keep the HHR over night to try and charge the old battery. Told them that if they wanted to charge the battery, to put a new one in, let me be on my way, and they could do all the testing that they wanted to do.

Also had good results at Kendall Chevy, across from Dadeland. They took care of any and all issues (other than said battery). Also they split the cost 50/50 of a new fuse block when it was found that the body shop that repaired the HHR somehow managed to really screw it up when they couldn't find the battery.

That's great that GM is patroling this board now, but what took them so long? HHR is just about gone. They have years of information to go through if they ever want to get anything out of the many thousands of posting. Maybe they can use this knowledge on future vehicles. Would have been better to have been using all this information to make adjustments to improve each model year of the HHR.

I've repaired the rust on the inside of the doors on my '03 Envoy twice now. They started in '06 but the dealer would not do anything as there was no perforation. So you are not alone......

You have to start somewhere. Just be glad they have started to take an interest in this car and all future models.

New managment and not going bankrupt any longer has given GM the ability to be a lot more pro active. This were so bad they could literaly not pay attention.

What is in the past will remain in the past and things in the future will improve. You can wash the old sins away but they can make sure they are not repeated and that is the point of them working with the customers. Happy customers are repeat customers.

Dear ChevyM84,

Thank you for sharing your feedback about the dealerships in your area of Florida. I apologize that you have had negative experiences with the service department at the dealerships. How many have your visited only to have the same experience?

If you would like me to document your complaints in more detail please, let me know.

I am so sorry you feel that way based on your current situation with the dealerships and your vehicle. General Motors takes comments like this very seriously, and I have documented your concern along with your comments. General Motors relies heavily on loyal customers and I hope one day we may be given the opportunity to earn your business again.

Don't hesitate to contact me with questions and/or concerns.

Sincerely,
Michelle, Chevrolet Customer Service

Dear ChevyM84,

Do you still own your spring edition? If so, are you still within the warranty time frame?

no i have an 08 2lt with its own set of problems that wasnt taken care of when they should have by the original owner(my father) so now its my problems such as a bubble in the paint, doors that dont line up and make all kinds of noise on the highway, and an engine that stalls on the highway......i want to take the 08 in for the engine stalling as i am in my powertrain warranty but i dont know what the problem is and what is covered and if the parts are not covered if i would be charged for diagnostics? the 08 has50k on the clock.
