Nice to see that gm patrols these forums
dealers down here in south florida are terrible.....twice ive gone to a dealer and seen a cust service rep. and they both said they have more trouble within 50miles of the miami area than anywhere else. which is making me look into other brands......i do love my hhr but its comming to a point where im going to be putting almost $2k in the hhr and still have the same issues and crappy service from the dealers.......since 2005 ive bought 5 GM cars with 3 being new. i think it might be time for another brand.
I was just going to commend GP Chevy for their service. Was actually in and out for a new battery under warranty in about 15 minutes. True, I know that's about how long it should take, but they wanted to keep the HHR over night to try and charge the old battery. Told them that if they wanted to charge the battery, to put a new one in, let me be on my way, and they could do all the testing that they wanted to do.
Also had good results at Kendall Chevy, across from Dadeland. They took care of any and all issues (other than said battery). Also they split the cost 50/50 of a new fuse block when it was found that the body shop that repaired the HHR somehow managed to really screw it up when they couldn't find the battery.
That's great that GM is patroling this board now, but what took them so long? HHR is just about gone. They have years of information to go through if they ever want to get anything out of the many thousands of posting. Maybe they can use this knowledge on future vehicles. Would have been better to have been using all this information to make adjustments to improve each model year of the HHR.

New managment and not going bankrupt any longer has given GM the ability to be a lot more pro active. This were so bad they could literaly not pay attention.
What is in the past will remain in the past and things in the future will improve. You can wash the old sins away but they can make sure they are not repeated and that is the point of them working with the customers. Happy customers are repeat customers.
