When I got mine back in AUG of '05 I couldn't get a military discount either.

Confirmed with 3 dealers today....no military rebate...Glad I wasn't in the market for a 50,000 Vette...no 500 dollar incentive there either

Even GM employees can't get a discount on the 'Vette or XLR, and sometimes not on several Cadillac models and HD-series light duty trucks.

...that search function....really ought to use it more often

I'd be snapping my heels together for most ex-miltary folks around here as I only served for 4 years. Ex-Corporal, Canadian Forces Army Reserves - Infantry.

I suppose GM Canada sets the standards here, but I still find it odd that the military discount would not be offered on a vehicle that would be on the shopping lists of most servicemen and women.

I'll just say, "one of those", for right now. I was attempting to work a deal on another vehicle, but that fell through, because of some delivery restrictions. So, my new GM vehicle is on order through the dealer, as an employee sale.

You better check your GM FamilyFirst website. Look for eligible vehicles....probably some changes since you last looked at it.
