Does this answer your question? Or are you asking about the GM/Chev. internal procedural replacement?
I have had more than my share of defects....(ex - 3 shifter knobs coming off - 2x while driving). But the thread starter was offered a different GM car, so I wondered about that procedure, equitable nature - or not, or any info willing to be shared. And GM offered, so is that to avoid Lemon Law ? (which does nor look good for them).
