Never dealt with Mac Haik. Always dealt with Buckalew in Conroe and most recent with Lawrence Marshall. I agree the level of customer service has gone way down since I purchased my first new vehicle back 20+ years ago.
I would try talking to your salesman or even the 800 number in your manuel.
Good luck.

Well, Saturday I went up to the dealer to speak to the GM and also get a new paper plate since my plates haven't arrived. He wasn't there so I left him a voicemail to please return my phone call when he has an opportunity. Well, he called me today and wanted to know my comments, I told him that I wasn't entirely happy with the purchase of my car, I love my car but I wouldn't say I was lied to as much as maybe the salesman was mis-informed. Explained to him the two issues that I had and then he happily said, when can you come in so I can make this right, he said he would have been mad if he had signed the papers to a car and then walked out to only find out that it had less features.

So on Wednesday I'll be bringing the hhr in to see what he'll be doing to make it right.

Xm Is Nice... But... Depending On Where You Live... You May End Up With A Lot Of Dead Air Time.

We Live On An Island With Lots Of Hills And Trees... End Up Using Am/fm Arond Here And When Driving In Seattle... Great When You Have A Good Sat Sight... Also Remember There Is Monthly Subscribition

On Star Is Great When You Are On The Road And In Trouble.... Steering Died In Flathead Mt... When I Called They Were Able To Pin Point My Location And Tell Me Where The Nearest Gm Dealer Wa... Same Same When We Go A Flat In Seattle...

You Sould Also Have Hands Free Phone Services For Period... Then The Subscriptions Fees... We Keep A 100 Minutes For Emergencies

The On Star Operators Are Very Good And Fun To Talk To When You Need Help

Hey REDFLYR....

Welcome back...haven't heard from you in awhile.

I have OnStar (and XM) on another vehicle and signed up for the free monthly vehicle diagnostics report. So far they haven't been able to do much correctly.

In the report for the first month it indicated I was past due for an oil change (310 miles, 6 weeks old). This hasn't been corrected yet...3 reports later .

The most recent report also indicated 2 tires were low. I went out and checked the vehicles TPS and physically with a gauge. ALL tires are correct TO THE POUND. After some discussion, they're working on this also.

I guess it's a case of getting what you pay for.....it this instance...0....it's free.
