Still works, but I want a new battery. What is the best replacement.

Well, if you 'only' got 11 years out of a 5-year battery, then the OEM(group 90) is a good choice.

Or you can go with a number of others. I've got a group 47 AGM in mine, another member just put a group 34R AGM in his. https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/gene...ery-hhr-60294/

There are many possibilities, I depend on AC Delco , but maybe next time I’ll try an AGM

Have a look at my thread to see some interesting higher capacity possibilities. I've found two AGM batteries you can easily make fit. One has 775 CCA and the other is 800 CCA. I've got the 775 CCA option in my '08 SS right now. Easy upgrade to make if you could use a bit bigger battery.

I'm still running my AC Delco battery from Nov 2007, I think I'm gonna follow Oldblue & get another AC Delco. Dealer has them @ $125.

If it lasts 1/2 as long as mine is lasting, I'd say money well spent.

I bought a New Delco OEM battery 4 months ago to go in my 2011 with 30,000 miles.
I figured 7 years was enough to make the update but I do wonder if the current OEM Delco replacement battery has the same construction and quality as they did in 2007 ??

That would still be my choice anyway as it is a perfect refit.

Just be careful in handling the Vent Tube as it is fragile .. especially if you remove and replace in cold weather.

I’m on my 3 battery, the OEM 2007 lasted till April 2012, a AAA replacement lasted till Nov 2017, the replacement AC Delco is heavier then the AAA battery.

Blue- Thanks, Good to know, my battery has been there since day one, I think I'll miss it.

When you changed batteries did you use a "memory saver" ? I have so many settings set to my preferences, I may use a memory saver.
