While I wouldn't do that to my Hhr. Aside from the grille, that owner has certainly captured the look from a bygone era.

Not sure what the purple flamed one has done.......

 

I like both of them especially the side pipes. The emblem on the purple and silver one looks like the hood front off of a 49 to 54 pickup. I am not a fan of silver cars in general so I like the purple treatment. To me the best looking silver cars ae a 300 SL Gullwing coupe and a 256 Porsche Speedster. Don't like silver on much of anything else. Just Me.

Yeah not my cup of tea. The side pipes are too fake looking. I personally cannot see putting something on a car that does not work as intended. Like side pipes unless they are actually being used. I appreciate the owner's passion though.
