If yours is the 56U you will not want to use 56. They are not exactly the same. Check the RPO number on your vehicle.

Again... there is no sticker in the glove box. I would guess it was either removed or the glovebox was replaced. Automtivetouchup.com does not show a listing for the 56U number.

She’s awesome, ran mine for the BlackSwan, the RPO sticker was removed from the glove box by someone over the years.
heathenhhr, I misunderstood that you worked for a GM dealership. I used to work for an USA based cell phone company, worked almost every holiday and weekends for 8 years. You have to enjoy what days you do get off.

Call the dealer and ask for the collision center and they can run the vin and give you the code.

The local dealer is not a good place to go. I bought a celebrety wagon from them and they had to repaint it 3 times to get it right, took my Safari van there and they screwed up bad enough I had to have the motor rebilt because they couldn't inatall the fuel injection right. Few people i town got here and they mostly sell to out of town people or fleet sales.Luckily they all are not as poorly run as this one. I go 30-40 miles away to the next dealer.

I don't think they can screw you to bad over a paint code.

you'd be amazed at what they can mess up... 3 tries to paint a car dark blue with silver around the bottom? it came back all silver, the all red, Then they got it right. it started out a door repaint on the silver for a run....

I thought you wanted the code. Seems you are looking for a competent painter.
