Panel Storage

Does anyone have pics of the area underneath the storage bins?

There is a lot of wasted space under and around the storage bins. I would like to remove this section utilize the entire floor area where the bins are.

Is there carpeting on the floor all the way back, or does it stop part way back?

Thank you

Here's a pic of mine...not a panel(yet), but the same as what yours would look if stripped out.

Jeffs....since yours is not a Panel the carpeting does go all the way back. Wonder if that's true for Panel styles?

I carry alot of sample books and based on your pic I could sure get alot more in that area.....Thanks.

Yep, panels have the same carpeting...all the way under your storage bins. I'd like to lower my cargo floor...about 3-4" can be gained...the limiting factor is the rear threshold...it would be higher creating a step down

Jeffs....So you would have to trim the bottom of the unit to gain the 3-4 inches?

Yes, if you wanted to keep the storage unit in place. If you look at the pic, the sound insulator pad with the four cutouts for seat frame bolts would be ideally the new floor level...IF it weren't for the rear liftgate opening.
