Polish out scratches in glass ?
Polish out scratches in glass ?
Has anybody found a good product for my question?
Side window has some lines now and also I had a "mark" on the windshield that I used watered down tooth paste on that left very small lines, at that point I stopped the tooth paste idea.
Somewhere I was told to use this Meguigar's mirror glaze, which when I look that up, there are different types of it.
Feed back please

A buddy of mine uses Eastwood's glass polishing product - says you can go to town with it without worry (in other words it's nearly impossible to damage the glass). FWIW, the container says that it'll polish out any scratches that your fingernail won't "catch" on.
I'll be using it for some marks on my back window in the next day or two.

WELL my father told me that one could use very fine sandpaper on the glass to buff out swirls, scratches, and "sand pits". Maybe 2000 grit or so. Wet sand of course. We got into a discussion about sandpaper because he was doing some body repair on his car and I asked why someone would use sandpaper that fine and that was his answer.
FWIW: yesterday I buffed out some pretty ugly scratches that the previous owner allowed when the wiper blade wore out - didn't take very long and that back glass looks SOOOO much better now! Eastwood is the brand - can't remember specifically what they call it.
Again - if your fingernail catches on the scratch, they say it won't work. Mine were all removable. About an hour total for around 24 square inches of scratches.
