Poor Antenna Reception

I live in Salt Lake area and we have a lot of Mountains. I drive about 20 miles to work. At home the reception is great and on the way to work the reception gets a lot of static. In my car before my HHR I did not have the problem. Any Ideas about getting better reception?

Check the TSB listing in the Problems/Issues forum.

There are a couple of TSBs related to radio problems.

Is it safe to assume you don`t have XM.?
Isn`t that sorta standard (should be). Living/driving in the mountains would almost make it a "must have"...

Thanks. I checked the TSB for poor radio reception and just like the bulletin the problem is with the FM reception. I will have the dealer look at it.

The reason I do not have XM is because other cars I have had have had good reception in our area. If I continue to have problems then XM is the answer.
