Power steering motor?

Het gang,
My '06 2LT, 190k, started having today an issue.
While turning the steering wheel, I feel a small but very active/fast vibration in the steering wheel.
This also happens if I turn the wheel at a stop.
By turn, I mean maybe 5 degrees at the steering wheel.
Could this be a warning that my steering motor is about to die?
I've read about the failures, but not of any early warning signs.

Either the motor or the intermediate steering shaft

Has the motor been replaced before the extended warranty started?

You gotta give GM credit for that program.

Mine hasn't died, YET.
I just started feeling, and now hearing, something as I start to move the steering wheel.
I'm just wondering IF the motor is starting to go bad.
Do I have to wait for motor failure to contact GM?
Thanks always for the input and help

2006 was a recall. No that is not a symptom of failure. Failure comes from overheating then the thermal fuse blows then resets after it cools down.
