power train waranty

hello all.
iguess this is a dumb question that i should know, how many miles on the power train waranty for a 2008 hhr lt?

dealership told me that the build date or delivery date (cant remember which one now) was december 07..and my car is an 08 so my warranty is up..but the original owner didnt buy it till some time in 08

To the original owner (or as you stated when first delivered....to the first owner). Dealers generally do not have title to the new car, otherwise it would be a second owner car (called a "b" title in some states) when the first "private" owner takes possession.

cant remember if they said that that was the build date then it was delivered after or if it was shipped to the dealer on that date...either way they are screwing me over by saying the warranty is up hmm

Just ask the dealer to run the VIN. It will indicate if a driveline warranty is in effect.
