Question for the guys...
Nice to hear from you Songman. Harvey was bought for me but I told her if we could get the black one she could say it was her's. Now she has a Tundra and Harvey is ALL MINE.
See ya down the road

Wow me too!!
Yes we bought the HHR for the wife - after all she did the research on it for about a month in addition we traded her 2001 Toyota Echo in as a down. My old Jeep wasn't worth enough and we got $5,500 for the Echo.
I was looking for a $14.00 door lock replace at the Jeep dealership when she came to tell me she found her "dream" car.
Well the rest is history. I mean I did trade her 67 Mustang for a Chevy LUV truck to haul my German Shepard around to dog training and other stuff.
Did I mention I had bought that car for her birthday over 20 years ago.
Women never forget those "little" things do they.
Yes the HHR is hers but as several of the guys mention "at least she lets me drive when I am with her".
Every so often she even lets me drive it when she is not with me!!

*scratching head in confusion*
just when I think I have all the answers, they change the questions...
(oh, and my answer to the poll question - Punky was bought for ME.)

My wife knew how badly I wanted the HHR and finally called me at work one day and told me to go sign the papres, my HHR was ready...I was shocked !!! We share it like everything else that we have...
My daily driver is a 1984 Chevy 4x4 K5 Blazer and thank goodness I live less then five miles from my job. We also do upholstery so we needed to keep the larger truck to bring home larger furniture. Deb had a Saturn wagon that she drove and loved but we needed something newer to take on trips that was more reliable. The Saturn was great around town but had an over heating problem I never could put my finger on. So when I saw the HHRs lined up in front of the dealership right next door to my work I just had to look. I have been a big fan of old panels since I was very young and just fell in love with the HHR. After doing a lot of research and looking I finally took Deb to look, she fell in love at first sight we sold the Saturn within two days of posting a local ad. I don't get to drive it much but definitely enjoy it when I do, but it's really for her.
