Bought ours for the boss. Her first new car ever, and it was LOADED. Every factory option available.

I have a 2000 Chevy HD locomotive and a 2007 Toy Taco sport truck.

But I love the HHR. Best looking car ever, drives nice, awesome mileage.

same here, bought for the wife, and i work on it, drive it when its time to go places ro when i wanna... i would love to mod it to the limit, but her not so much so i found the best thing to do, im modding my camry (used to be the familt truckster before the hhr) and when i see stuff for the hhr i like i show it to her, so far she wants running boards, triple lakes (THAT suprised me!) some modest graphics, and fog lights (i keep getting out bid for the dwindling supply of the apc spyder lights) oh and an exhaust kinda like mine (thrush turbo with modest tip) i have found harmony with this system, since she hates hearses and my first reaction was to go find a panel and get the hearse trim, i decided to let her have it her way with my influence, and when its paid off and we buy her something new, well ill see what i wanna do then...lol

Its ALL MINE

I paid cash for mine in June 07 after spending 16months deployed to Afghanistan. Wife has the Mini-van. Car is mine. However she does try to steal it from time to time.

Fixed that with the Magnaflow exhaust. She says its TOO LOUD.

I love it when a plan comes together

Welcome back! Hope you don't have to deploy again too soon. I got to spend some time in the relative luxury of Kyrgyzstan the first half of this year. I have much respect for those of you who were/are where the lead actually flies.

Our car situation is similar too. Wife has a minivan. She drives the HHR whenever she can though. The kids love the van so that is her car. They don't like the HHR unless their is only one of them riding in the back. Otherwise they complain that they are "squished". I guess that I can understand. it is a bit narrow back there for three kids.

I bike commute to work most days so the car stays in the garage for days at a time. Even with her using it to run errands from time to time it doesn't get too many miles. In over a month, we have yet to rack up 1k. I'm about half way through my third tank of gas in it And that's with coming up with excuses to drive it for the first two weeks

I said from the start that our HHR was bought for Marie, even though I am the one who is always here talking about modding it.

What about it, guys? Yours or hers?
same for me , i drive a 95 dodge colt has a dealy driver. my wife get's the new car being the HHR, but week-end it's my ride, lol . I had to sell me 1987z24 in order to get my hhr. so i'm allowed modding it.
