Hi all, I have 2 questions to ask need some advice

1) Wheelie did not come with fog lights, but I would like to have them, can I get them installed with the same kind that Chevy uses on HHR's that already come with them?, with the Fog light button included?, or is that not possible?

2) I want to install an automatic liftgate opener on Wheelie, here is why, I am a handicap, and as i posted before on an earlier post on another topic, I have a rolling walker that I use to get around, one of my problems with my handicap is that i do not have any balance, I have to grab onto somthing to lift my walker up and put into Wheelie, my problem is trying to open his liftgate without losing my banlance, I always have to sit first and press the button and pull the liftgate up, then stand back up and hold onto something then continuing...Can I get an automatic liftgate opener on Wheelie??

Have no idea, but with enough money or the right skills anything is possible.

 

I belive someone else here did the automatic lift gate opener...almost sure I saw a thread on it

You could try the units used on the new GMC Acadia, it has the auto liftgate w/ remote control.

 

Wheelie can go to a factory who modifies van for handicaped peoples they turn slide doors on a mini-van to one who flip up/down with an activator or another electronic device? as for the fog lights, you can buy aftermarket ones or factory ones . NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE

 

I have installed factory fogs in both my HHR's. there is a how to in the how to guide, use the search. I found all the parts at

https://www.partszoneonline.com/index.php In the how to post are all the part # for what you need. The BCM will need to have the fog lights turned on by a dealer
