Ok all, I have another little question.
I just got my touch up paint pen in the mail today..YES!! ....and I read the instructions, and 1 little thing has me nervous!
The instructions say that after 1 hour of applying, you can use CLEARCOAT.
my question is this......WHAT IS CLEARCOAT?????? ..LOL!..oh, and is it really necessary to apply???
Thanks!

I bought aftermarket driving lights popped out the plastic fillers in the lower bumper, trimmed out the center added mesh to match my upper and lower grilles, bolted the driving lights behind the mesh and will pop the assemblies back in this weekend it "should" work fine. I found a neat switch at WalMart that is shaped almost exactly like the window buttons in the HHR and they even have a cool green LED...keeping it inexpensive ! The modification of the tailgate could be handled, as others have suggested, by a conversion shop that handles lift gates, etc. for handicapped vehicles or by any reputable custom shop...and by the way that is a great mod !!! Good luck...
