Random wire

im still in the process of learning this car and I need to know if this ground wire is suppose to be here and if so what does it go to? Because this one is cut/broken and I see no wire at all that would even come close to running to it. Not having any issues with the car. Just so happened to come across this and it made me curious. 2011 2.2L

Looks just to be an add on 20 gauge ring terminal end.

Ok

See I was thinking that, but it kind of threw me off considering I had one that looked exactly like it under the steering column/dash. Still not sure what it even goes too lol just noticed it was broken and repaired it. 🤷*♂️

Looks like someone removed an accessory from the vehicle. looks like the red and pink wires had wire taps on them also.

The previous owner had an after market radio installed or some other accessory. The Pink wire is switched, the red wire is Bat+

Ground from GPS install

That ground terminal has orange tamper creme applied so some one can't unscrew the ground with out the seal / creme breaking (like a wax seal on a letter) and letting you know the terminal has been removed. Most likely this was either a rental or commercial vehicle and the original owner was monitoring the driver. That creme was to prevent that driver from backing the screw out and his GPS not reporting by showing the install had been tampered with. I know all this because I am in the industry and I occasionally have a customer request this tamper creme be used.
