Rcdlr 2006-2008

OK so I was at the junkyard the other day and the key and remote were stuck in the ignition of the 2006 HHR, I took the remote, thinking that one day ill have it reprogrammed since I lost mine a while back. But I just got to thinking couldn't i just go back to the yard and pull yhe RCDLR out of the '06 and swap it with mine in the '08? Pls let me if thus is possible.

No, they are different and not even located in the same place.
A. the 2008 has TPMS and the 2006 does not
B. if the 2008 has ever had a dead battery the TPMS and sometimes the door locks won't be working without a firmware update.
C, the 2008 location is under the headliner near the mirror, the 2006 is mounted under the left rear quarter trim panel.
Your sentences don't make a lot of sense. I don't know what the situation is or why you think it would help.

I think he's saying that he found a remote in a junk yard and wants to use it in his car

He could use the 08 in the 06 but not the other way around.
