The HHR is a nice car. But I would not replace a 2007 Honda Accord with it unbless you need the cash for the Accord.

My concern for you is which model Rental that you get. I bought my HHR August of 2005 (2LT) and I rented an LS in Sept of 2005. The LS was a bad rental experience. It made me really miss my 2LT. When you have a sunroof and go into a car for a week without it really makes you miss it. Plus it had the regular basic Radio and basic reaview mirror. I really missed my compass and 6 in dash cd changer. So the limited features would turn you off. I hope your rental contains features that are similar to what you want to get.

No, the rental doesn't have the 2LT features, but I'm not looking for that, I am looking for the general driving experience. The biggest challenge is that the rental is cloth and I'm wondering if the leather seats are more comfortable. Also, I am not a big fan of sun roofs, and I have read a tremendous amount on this forum (and others) that make me think the sun roof is a problem waiting to happen.

I have the HHR for 5 more days, I will be doing a minimum of 77 miles a day in the car, in combination of back roads and highway. This past Friday was great.

Peace,

All right folks, here's the situation: I like everything about the HHR except one thing...the seat. The lower back is too stiff. Does anyone know if the leather seats are as stiff as the cloth seats? (On the Accord, the cloth seats are much stiffer than the leather seats. I'm hoping this is the same situation with the HHR.)

Please let me know. THANKS SO MUCH!!!

My leather seats have a lower lumbar inflater. Did you use that?? Mine goes from "slouch" to "bozo", and I always fight a different spot at different times.

There is no lumbar inflator on the LS, at least, I can't find it.
