well Monday when I got off work and went to get in to my car to load up all my tools I noticed that my rear bumper was slightly out of adjustment(it was 3 FEET BEHIND MY CAR) turns out a semi truck clipped it pulling out of the job site. So I got hold of the trucking company and of course they said because I didnt have a plate number or witness I was screwed. But the owner said she would ask the other drivers turns out it was a new driver and he did go stright to her when hr returned to the yard that night and the insurance would cover everything( what a relief) so no money out of my pocket at least not yet the damage was sort of minimul there was some damage under the bumper cover and to the rear fender. but I noticed that on the rear passanger side there is a luverd vent that blows cold air out when running whats it for?

oh and the funny part of the story was that I had my car inside the building with me inthe morning but they where doing a bunch of concrete cutting for some pluminb so I decided to move it out side to avoid all the scratches the next time I washed it so I put it out in the street. LOL I didnt know trucks would be going in and out all day moving dirt dose it suck to be me or what

It's just that, a vent. Lets air circulate out of the car.

 

That's the body vent valve.It's for the flow through ventilation system.

 

ok cool just thought it was in a strange place I thought maybe it was to keep on star cool if equipped
