Rear window, ventable?

Hello, has anyone ever seen an HHR with the rear windows altered to open outward to vent position.
I'm referring to the big windows on the rear panel, not the one on the back door😊
just thinking it could be a cooool mod😁

I’ve considered the mod, however not done the mod, I was thinking the open close motor from a Chev Uplander or Pontiac Montana, the glass could be reused, then there’s the weather stripping. I remember rain coming in at speed in my 1993 Pontiac TransSport (aka Dust Buster)

I had a blue 1992 Pontiac TransSport Gt with the 3.8L V6. It was a great van that I wish I had kept (plastic body). The 3.8 V6 was one of the great GM engines of its time.

Lots of work. Lots of fabbing.

Little results. Both in looks and usefulness. I would save the modding for something else.

Fwiw. I've got rear pop out vent windows in my Dodge Ram Quad cab. Only time they get opened is when I'm cleaning those windows.

I would fear exhaust gas. I have driven short distances with the hatch cracked open, I was glad it was a nice day and all of the door windows opened.
