Don't get excited on these sales as often the incentives stay in place and you can get the same or even better deal tag sale or not.

When I bought mine I was able to do better with out the employee discount sale price vs the price I got from my dealer.

Smart shopping of dealers is where you get the best price. Also on the last day of the month.

I got my price on the last day of July and we found my car a day later.

Deal on the price not the car and do it late in the month. Make them need to sell a car to you.

Don't get fooled into rushing on price or looking around. I saved a couple thousand dollars off my first offer at the first dealer. They said no one could do better. Guess what they were wrong.

The bottom line is the deals are always there and right now they are easier to get if your smart and shop with out emotion and a clear mind. They build these things every day or there are many just waiting for a dealer trade. So if the dealer does not have the one you want and they are giving you a good deal let them trade a dealer for the color and options you want.

Don't get burned as I see too many who pay too much.

the only deal i have is invoice minus incentives because i ordered my car. i didn't get a fixed price because at the time there were no prices set on the '09 models. the best thing in my case is a huge rebate.

invoice price and $2500 rebate would be sweet.

Tell them you want the Canadian deal up here GM is offering huge discounts not to finance with them. The discount on the HHR is $4,500.00 they set you up with an open bank loan around 9.00% you have to make at lest 1 payment then you can pay it off.

Almost had my wife into a HHR but she went with a 2009 Pontiac G5.They were giving $5,000 off for no financing off G5`s and Cobalts so after all my employee discounts $1,500 visa $1,300 for her trade it was $8,950 before taxes. The HHR came out to $11.028.00 Canadian or $9200.00 U.S.$

The only bad thing is everyone that bought a new car up here 2 months ago just lost $5,000.00

If I was the Chevy, I'd advertise a price increase and hope the others joined suit. WTH, they aren't selling anything at giva-a-way prices so you might as well raise the price.

The new plans I have seen are in addition to the rebates, they have owner loyalty discounts of 1-3K on most cars, and they topped off some people's GM card earnings to $2000. This has me considering replacing mine.

The GM card is a great deal. I have saved $6000 total on 4 new car I have purchased. This was money over and above the deal price I settled with the dealer.

We use our card for gas and by the time we need a new car we have more than enough to take a good discount off out next car.

It will not help now if you don't have one but get one now. If you pay it off at the end of the month it can save you $1000-$3000 interest free off your next new car.

It is free money if you plan to buy a GM car.

Do not tell the salesman you have it till you agree on the price. This way you will get your best price before they take this off.
