Remote Start stopped working....

I'm sure this has been posted but here it goes. I have noticed over the last couple of months that my 06 HHR LT has sometimes been starting hard. 1st problem. 2nd problem is that now the remote start has stopped. Any ideas at first it would crank and not start while doing this and now it is doing nothing dosent even try to start. I have years of experience working on car electronics so any suggestions on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated. The key fobs still work the locks and the check engine light is not on. The car has 33000 miles on it and otherwise is in perfect working order.

My wifes did the same, just a buzz or whirr when trying the remote start. Disconnected battery to reset the BCM and all was well.
Maybe this will help I hope.

Try swaping the relay with another relay like #30 & 51 in the under hood fuse box.

Another possibility is you might have a stored code. Disconnecting the battery cleared it, then starting it reset the code so the remote start is disabled again. I had that problem with mine.

I had the same problem took it to the dealer said that the middle brake light was unplug. They plug it back in and started right up. So check you tail lights.
