Our Remote starter does not start the car when it is cold out. It also disables the ability to try and restart it . I can go and manually start it, but the idea of the remote start is to get the car warmed up on cold days. It is useless, so time to see the dealer.
It is a 2006 model.
Had the same problem on my Honda. All cars suck. Just the ways of the world I guess. Well,Ok, our Raniier had no remote start problems......GO Buick!

There is a bulletin for the 2.4L dying after remote start, but none for not starting at all from the remote. There is also a bulletin referencing the remote start not working after replacement of either the body or engine computer. The dealer can put the latest software updates in the bcm and pcm and that may fix the problem.
I do hate these things when they are intermittent!The one in my Honda did not work. Then did an hour later. Grrrr.... Maybe my house is on an old Indian burial mound or something. Poltergiests..................
