removing stick on mirrors

You know the little things you put in the corners of your side mirrors to give you better viewing around the car? Stuck on with I'm guessing 3M tape. Suggestions?

Try some Goo Gone let sit and soak in, and very little pressure prying with fingers . Should work.

you can try a heavy duty hair dryer to heat the mirror and the tape should let lose and then try to remove the spotter mirror. Or you could even try fish string and cut them off that way.

Kevin, I just peeled a pair off my mirrors.
The reflective silver came off the back of the lil' mirror.
I stuck some cardboard around the main mirror so it would stay put, as I pryed on the lil mirror. You could play it safe and use some fishing line to cut them of..then clean up what is left behind.

Using fishing line.. wont that be hard to cut behind them? I've got next to no room for line behind my mirror..

the fishing line will fit behind the mirror and give a little as the tape is being cut. just have to remember take your time and do it slowly.

A very sharp and new single edge razer blade with wd40 as a lube in order not to scratch the mirror. Then clean with glass cleaner and enjoy the new view.

Alright to save yourself the headache of messing with the little mirrors just get a new set of mirrors that are made for a panel that way you don't have to worry about it.
