Hi all I have a question on HHR rims. My 2007 HHR originally had 16" rims on it but currently 2 of the rims are in bad shape. I have a line on some 17" rims off of a later HHR. Is there any compatibility concerns as far as bolt pattern or offset I should be aware of?

Are you planning to replace all 4, or just the 2 bad ones?

 

Probably all 4. I'm guessing it would be a bad idea to mix 16 and 17 in rims

 

As donbrew stated, no.
ALL HHR wheels came with the same bolt pattern.
There are even wheels from other vehicles that are the same.
Me, I have 17" wheels from a Saab 9-3.

It will probably affect your speedometer reading and the odometer.

 

Not problem, will look nice. Any 5-lug wheel from any HHR, Cobalt, or even G5 will work.

There will be no speedo issues with 17” if you use the correct 215/50R17 tire that came on 2LT’s. It’s about the same diameter as the 215/55R16 base tire.
