Roof Rack Cross bars

Does anyone know where one could find a set of the cross bars that go between the factory roof rack without spending a fortune. The factory ones new are expensive.

Yeah good luck. Better off buying Yakima or something, they hold more.

2 X 4's are kind of cheap. Put some gold leaf on them it would come out to the same price.

Thule rails are awesome!!!

I have used the Thule brand cross bars and have loaded them with 2 kayak cradles with 2- 13' yaks and a set of golf clubs and gear in the yaks for heading up to a trip. Never an issue. They are also great for loading plywood, lumber, and even carpeting. Never regretted investing in them. And you can remove them easily when not in use or if you sell the vehicle. Thats my 2 cents!!
