Yeah, it'll be the same as KMart. I mean, they're still around! You can go shopping there. Just because a company goes bankrupt doesn't mean they close.

Rumor now is that GM pulled the BK filing at the last minute due to insufficient planning on their part but apparently it is still going to happen as soon as they revise the filing paperwork.

If there was a filing today, it would have happened and been announced right after the market closed and we're well beyond that now.

I did take my whole $3.00 in my 2 GM shares and cashed them out.... I mean, $3 is better than nothing, which I would get in bankruptcy.... Maybe it can buy me a cheap lunch....

Look at it this way. If they file for bankruptcy, they have professional money people taking the reins. If they keep on the way they are with gov't handouts, the gov't is calling the shots. When has the government EVER managed ANYTHING well! Who would you rather rely on?

maybe i should look into canceling my gm warranty

i still have 40 days to do so.

cdn govt. said they will only cover gm warranties purchased after apr 07 09
