running boards

Don't forget the cost to match Paint unless they are a match for your HHR.
Look for excessive corrosion on all mounting parts.
I'm guessing you can do the install yourself as it is fairly costly to have it done.
Are they already uninstalled .... if not who pays for that?

Good news! And not so good news. Found a pair of running boards yesterday at a pick n pull for only $15. Not so good news: i got the boards off but couldn't get the brackets and steel support off because everything is rusty. Theres no power so i can only use hand tools. The metal is rusted away from the bracket except where it attaches at the top to the frame. Im thinking a sawsall but i cant find a place that rents battery powered sawsalls and i dont eant to buy one because i wouldnt need it after this. I went back today with a hacksaw but couldn't make a dent. The torx screws are rusted in place. Any one have any ideas? Thanks
