Since I'm only 25 minutes away, I could be there. Mike, are you doing anything formally, or just showing up? I'll PM you my number, maybe we can plan a lunch or something.

Hi I went last year in my Saturn Sky, It was a blast, I got it up to about 100, I was on the track with several Corvettes and was behind a 2007 Z06.

5 laps for $10. All you had to do was try to keep up with the SSR pace car.
We were told the first car behind the pace car (SSR) would determine the speed, as long as you kept up he would increase his speed.
the first time i went we got up to about 80, the second time i was behind some woman in a new T-Bird that wouldn;t do over 60, finally she dropped down and let me by and that is when i went from broke and hit 100.... funzie!
wish I could attach a picture, One of the Corvette guys took of me on the track.

I'll never forget the delivery van someone had on the track or the stock car some local was running that made me just about drop a load in my pants when I heard him barrelling down on me and then seeing him in my rearview mirrow.
That sure was a lot of fun last year, and I remember the stock car , it scared the crap out of me also. I am planninig on going , hopefully nothing comes up to ruin it .

Hey folks. I wanted to bump this up and make sure we are still a "go" for Bristol on the 8th. I can't seem to find a verification for this date. Does anyone have verification? If so, who is planning on attending, and what time do we want to try to meet and run laps together.

Post #9 has a copy of the flyer.

Saddly, we're not gonna be able to go this year. We're hoping for next year.

I highly recommend it to all who are thinking about it though. LOTS of fun!
