Scan tool for crank relearn and more

Someone on Facebook “HHR OWNER’S” [sic] group reported they were able to learn the crankshaft position sensor with a “Foxwell NT510 GM” $200 tool, says it will do fobs and other unspecified stuff. I’m tempted.

Think it’s this (pic and link)

Yeah, I might expect a less than perfect experience at that price, but also expect that more than few reviewers are incapable of figuring out which button to push.

I decided to peruse the reviews and immediately found these. Think I should post them at the recently active P0172 threads?

Shoppers beware. This is the “ NT510 Elite.” The plain old “NT510” is the old model.

Also, this is GM specific. They have other versions for other makes.

And I’m not endorsing this thing, only thinking about buying it and wondered what others thought.

I really can’t say from the reviews, I need to use one to assess it’s capabilities. If it does all they say that’s awesome!

It's from Amazon, if it doesn't, just return it.
