Seats fron 08 SS to 09 LS

Now that we all have lots of time on our hands I am finally moving forward on changing the interior of my 2009 LS. I think I have secured a new set from a 2008 SS seats my question is can these go into my LS without any major issues I think the ones I am buying the driver seat is electric and my LS isn't. No Issues with air bags on anything that I haven't thought of thanks in advance.

The only thing I can think of is the air bag sensor in the passenger seat connector maybe different.

If the connector is different it means the sensor is different so you need to switch the seat sensors and the module. I though t you said

Your LS might not have power wires under the seat. As far as attachment they are plug 'n play.

Here’s a similar thread with some answers, and links . About the airbag and the power seat harness under the seat.

2008 SS Seats into a 2009 LS

Sorry my first post I was using my phone and I had errors in it.

I think I have secured a new set of seats from a 2008 SS seats. My question is can these go into my 2009 LS without any major issues I think the ones I am buying the driver seat is electric and my LS isn't, are there any known issues with air bags or anything else that I haven't thought of thanks in advance. Not a car mechanic so maybe it's something I should have a professional do for me?

The new design for the interior started in 09, which your LS should have. The changes rolled out a year prior, for the SS. Good chance they are the same.

2009 LS Extra Cable Under Driver Seat

Late next week I hope to be getting my SS 2008 seats to install in my LS 2009. I know that the SS driver seat is power and my LS are manual. I noticed an extra female I think power cable under the driver seat, do I use this to give power to the SS driver seat or is this for heated seats that I don't have. If do use this for power will I need to do anything to get power to it IE add a fuse somewhere update the computer? If I don't use this for power how do I get power to the seat?

Thanks in advance.
