rrin Olsen, Manager Technical Services, Senior Product Specialist, EGR, Inc.: “The HHR is a unique-looking vehicle in today’s marketplace. Comparable to the PT Cruiser for accessorizing, it lends itself to an endless array of possible iterations for individual personalization. It screams ‘accessorize me and make one of a kind!’”

David M. Gordon, Western Region Sales Manager, Hamsar Diversco, Inc.: “This all-new retro-look multi-use vehicle lends itself to many different styling directions, and it is affordable to the masses in the stripped-down version. The aftermarket will have a heyday with this truck/SUV, and the die-hard GM fans now have their own little HHR ‘Cruiser’ to trick out.”

Brad Grissom, V.P., Marketing/Product Development, Ingalls Engineering Co., Inc.: “The HHR is clearly a lifestyle vehicle and will be marketed to the emerging youth market and enjoy a strong enthusiast following. GM Performance will certainly tap into the aftermarket performance segment, as will many tuners and aftermarket companies.”

Larry Weiner, President, Performance West Group, Inc.: “The new Chevrolet HHR is a vehicle that begs to be personalized. It will easily respond to a wide range of accessories that cover the entire spectrum. This includes body kits, woody packages, upgraded interiors, audio/video entertainment systems, custom wheel and tire packages, engine and powertrain upgrades, suspension kits…it’s just limitless. And with the appeal for the HHR to the baby-boomer generation—to say nothing of the millions of Chevy enthusiasts—this vehicle has success written all over it.”

Gregory Smith, Director of Marketing, Weld Racing: “It is my choice because of its accessible price, retro styling, solid chassis, room for large wheels and tires and proven Ecotec engine.”

Beat ya to it a long time ago. https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/lounge-10/why-hhr-won-sema-award-vendor-list-532/
Too bad most of the vendors don't even make anything for the HHR. All of the products make have been featured on SEMA show HHRs but most of it was one off stuff.

What CH said - I am in contact with vendors all week. Virtually NONE of those listed vendors make anything for the HHR (*I just wnet through the list again last week). My guess is they "filled out a form" at SEMA to get their names on that vendor list.

It's amazing what companies will do for advertising!

What Mike said, too!!

I've talked to some off that "vendor" list, too, for the HHR. Not to name names, but the President of one company listed for the HHR didn't even know what it was!!
