I looked into the Armada when I was looking into getting an SUV. This was just before the price of gas doubled, and I ended up getting a Buick Rainier, which is a GMC Envoy or Chevy Trailblazer on steroids. The Rainier has around 800 extra pounds on it over the other two and from what I understand , most of the weight is in sound proofing the Buick. It is real quiet! I bow to Buick The Buick's MPG with the v8 in it is around 16-17MPG. I do get close to 21 MPG on the highway.

The Armada was just to large for us, with MPG to match its size, we needed to actually drive some distances, so we ruled it out. I was not real keen on its styling and read on line of a father driving one and the center roof console came crashing down on his son's head!
Well, any company can have the occasional quality issue....
For Nissan ( Hey, don't they make bread ), I really like the Murano. Now that has some real style and it is shared only with an Infinity that looks even nicer! Yup, I love rounded car stylin' dat's why we got an HHR!
